It is possible the power supply overcompensates the inrush current during powerup, causing a voltage spike that exceeds the allowed upper threshold of the device.

The specified width/height are used in building the persistence image/table, to have control over export size or shift steps.
For visualization, the persistence image is stretched to the available view size.

The AUX input has under/overvoltage protection.
I get the same error if I try to supply the AD3 with almost 5.5V

You can set the run time to be 5 times the pulse length so the pulse will output 5 times during one run step.
The trigger PC is useful to synchronize multiple internal/external instruments. If the only task is to generate the pulses you can start the AWG for each burst with the config function.

The next version (v3.22.11) will pass the rgData in native JavaScript 64bit float data type with 54 bit fraction.

The bit operations seem to be performed as 32 bit signed value, so these need to be handled with care above 31 bit, like: add, divide, divrem... instead of: or, shift, mask...

Set fixed height and adjust shift. Like here with 201 pixel Height and 1 ShiftY, the midpoint to bottom will show 100 captures.

You can have multiple Logic Analyzer interfaces open but a device has only one such resource, so only one interface can be active at a time.
The Logic Analyzer can record up to 256Mi samples and the Protocol 'unlimited'

No, it does not calculate since that would be an assumption.
All voltage and currents are measured with 4 scope channel devices and with Analog Discovery Adapter. This uses two sweeps and relays to measure each parameter. AD without adapter can measure 2 parameters at a time.

The AM/FM buffer on AD1,2 is 2k sample 9bit and newer devices AD3,ADP3X50,ADP2230 is 2k-16k sample 16bit
The deeper and higher resolution gives smoother AM/FM but even the AD2 should be much better than your plot.
Even with 9bit the frequency step for 50-500Hz should be ~0.8789Hz = (500Hz-50Hz)/512, like it is measured here:

The 'Record to File' captures raw data up to 'unlimited' length which needs to be processed by external application.
Use the Mode:Record for longer capture and you want processing in the WaveForms application.
Use the Protocol tool if you are interested only in one UART,SPI,I2C,CAN,CEC,JTAG or SWD protocol data.
