Hi @Oliver, Unfortunately there is not such an option; the 1 MOhm impedance on the analog input channels is set within the PCB and does not have a jumper/relay option to change the input impedance. Because it's integrated into the PCB, an external add-on wouldn't be able to get around it. At this time, Digilent does not have any devices that offer a selectable 50 Ohm input impedance instead of just the 1 MOhm.   3. Yes. Impedance Analyzers in general rely on having a known resistance/impedance to compare the unknown impedance with, specifically to compare the voltage drop and phase difference of a signal between the known and unknown loads. Using a known impedance value that is close to the unknown impedance value, ideally within an order of magnitude, will give you more accurate results as the differences will not be (effectively) attenuated. The catch of course is that you known which known resistance to use when attempting to determine the value of the unknown impedance because it's, well, unknown. WaveForms in combination with the Impedance Analyzer adapter helps to account for this by comparing initial measurements between the on-board known resistances and the unknown impedance and quickly cycling through the different known resistors to give users the closest match to provide the most accurate results (due to least amount of difference between the known and unknown values). Hi @Qmellory, There has not been, as far as I am aware, any discussion or plans to offer industrial versions of the embedded FPGA (rather than the commercial variant) of our FPGA products, though I can put in a note that there is a request for such a device. I'm glad to hear that you like the Cmod A7, though admittedly I am curious (you don't have to respond to this bit, of course) if you would prefer it if it had some more IO, had support for other logic standards, or other features that were mentioned in this thread, if only because echoed requests from multiple people are more likely to be heard by the stakeholders that be rather than single requests: https://forum.digilent.com/topic/23509-cmod-a7-with-more-io/. Hi @Mohamed Kamal, In general, you only need to calibrate the Analog Discovery device once; it will retain and use the user-determined calibration each time until you choose to manually re-calibrate it or load the factory calibration from the WaveForms Device Manager. There is no specific timeframe for how often you should calibrate your Analog Discovery device. Personally, I only recalibrate my devices when my hardware setup has drastically changed or feel inspired to recalibrate, but when those situations occur is completely arbitrary. Otherwise, I don't believe the calibration process is supported within the SDK API. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, JColvin

  9. Hi @Arpit Rao, I am confused on your power supply setup. When connecting multiple devices together, you need to have them share a common ground so that they all have a consistent reference point to which they can compare their logic voltages to. Where is the -0.9 V supply coming from? Is it from an external supply or are you using the Analog Discovery 2's power supplies? What do mean by the -0.9V supply is the logic 0 for your DUT? Does your DUT use a logic standard where the logic low is a negative voltage or some sort of differential input (which to my knowledge still has a reference GND voltage that it compares to)? Or is this something entirely different that I'm not understanding? Regardless, if using an external power supply, you should not attach a -0.9 V output from it to the ground of the Analog Discovery 2 because the ground of the Analog Discovery 2 is shared with the USB ground connected to the host computer and you would not want to have deliberately mismatched grounds. As for the ringing on the wavegen output, are you using a BNC probe to view the signal or just a straight cable? What frequency are you sending the pulses at and do you have any sort of load on the output? Thanks, JColvin

Hi @Norm-12, Digilent did not create the Audio Analyzer Suite; from my understanding this was created by a third party outside of the Digilent Forum: The WaveForms software has both a Network and Spectrum Analyzer which should have most if not all of what you are looking for.   13. Yes, you would have received some sort of error message if the script encountered an issue. The screenshots you showed doesn't "request" any return value, so that's why the script shows as undefined as no return value was defined (or requested).

Hi @Dharmendra, Unfortunately, the voucher that comes with the Genesys 2, as set up and dictated by Xilinx, only entitles users for one year of updates of the Xilinx software, upon which you will be able to continue to use whatever version was last installed without restriction. Digilent has not received any communication from AMD/Xilinx on being able to extend licenses (nor are we allowed to individually sell vouchers), but maybe AMD/Xilinx support can offer some additional insight on what options are available to you. Hi @paulinom, The board getting identified within Vivado when creating a project mostly just indicates that the board files were correctly loaded so that any premade Digilent materials (through the Board tab within the Block Design) are available. Regardless, it sounds like you are connecting to the board correctly (CONFIG jumper JP5 set to JTAG, cable connected to the USB JTAG micro USB port as opposed to USB UART, and presumably have power connected to the Genesys 2 and the board switched on). If you switch off the board and set JP5 to QSPI, I presume the out of box demo starts up on the board? Presuming this is the case, I have sent you a PM with some instructions for what you can try.   23. Hi @oatsy, This isn't directly an FTDI to RS-232 converter, but you could use something like the Pmod RS232, https://digilent.com/reference/pmod/pmodrs232/start. You can then send any of the UART data over whatever Pmod port that the Pmod RS232 is attached to.   24. I do not believe this is possible to do "live" so-to-speak with the on-board hardware to get a notch filter for 50/60 Hz. You can do this with external passive components of course or a Math Channel, though the Math Channel is done in software. Outside of exporting a completed acquisition, I do not think it is readily possible to record Math channel data directly to a file. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, JColvin
