  1. i tried to calculate the Rs depending on equations but i didn't get the same results as taken from discovery . but the impedance magnitude is fine i did the calculations and it matched the results
  2. in the waveforms app compensation occur with open circuit and short circuit setup while in the python code only open circuit is found while there is that other setup: the load here means the DUT, right? or means to short circuit like in the waveform app???
  3. so, this means that I will get a right reading in all cases but the most accurate one cannot be determined without knowing the proper resistor? I also want an explanation for the parameters, for example: what is the series capacitance and parallel capacitance. and how to get the overall capacitance?
  4. what is the difference between the impedance analyzer and network analyzer, as impedance analyzer embedded having the features of network analyzer. please explain if i misunderstood...
  5. what is the difference between using 1M ohm or another resistor in the resistor options in the impedance analysis does the value affect the accuracy or smth ?
  6. Can i do the calibration steps of the device using python script without using waveform GUI , and is it necessary to do calibration each time i use the impedance analyzer or it is okay to do it one time. "Note : I use the same hardware setup each time".
