  1. Hi @RoboRepublic It would be interesting to see the signal transitions after stop, what causes error to be displayed backwards up to stop. It is probably a timing issue with the next start.
  2. Hi @Caleb Messerly Update digilent.adept.runtime and digilent.waveforms.adp3X50_X.X.X_armhf.deb https://digilent.com/reference/software/adept/start https://digilent.com/reference/software/waveforms/waveforms-3/start
  3. Hi @linear_guy No, it does not calculate since that would be an assumption. All voltage and currents are measured with 4 scope channel devices and with Analog Discovery Adapter. This uses two sweeps and relays to measure each parameter. AD without adapter can measure 2 parameters at a time.
  4. Hi @jcorleto 1,2,3,4: yes These are application features available with any supported device.
  5. Hi @Saeed Zohoori The AM/FM buffer on AD1,2 is 2k sample 9bit and newer devices AD3,ADP3X50,ADP2230 is 2k-16k sample 16bit The deeper and higher resolution gives smoother AM/FM but even the AD2 should be much better than your plot. Even with 9bit the frequency step for 50-500Hz should be ~0.8789Hz = (500Hz-50Hz)/512, like it is measured here:
  6. Hi @Hazardsneon I don't understand this. Can you attach a screenshot ?
  7. Hi @TUBS_CMOS See the WF SDK/ samples/ py examples
  8. Hi @linear_guy Have you actually changed the base resistor ? Here is R1 with 1k and Trace with 10k Rb
  9. Hi @LarryMerino The 'Record to File' captures raw data up to 'unlimited' length which needs to be processed by external application. Use the Mode:Record for longer capture and you want processing in the WaveForms application. Use the Protocol tool if you are interested only in one UART,SPI,I2C,CAN,CEC,JTAG or SWD protocol data.
  10. Hi @electricbungaloo The base is controlled in voltage and not current. For 3mA over 10k it would need 30V and also ~300mA on collector, but the device can provide up to 10V and 30mA.
  11. Hi @LifesLesson Under Settings/ Device Manager/ Calibrate/ Reset/ Load Factory Connect W1 to 1+ and W2 to 2+ (connect 1- and 2- to any GND), generate signals and make some screenshots.
  12. Hi @Danny Cote I called state 6 NoDone, before capture Done but still transferring data, which you can consider as Triggered.
  13. Hi @Saeed Zohoori See the AnalogOut_Sweep.py example
  14. Hi @TheRad Have you also considered Analog Discovery 3 ? If you have any specific test setup I could perform this to show you the operation or result. This is an old topic for low frequency:
  15. Hi @samuel.cregut The Protocol tool can log a single SPI or multiple CSs and MISOs. The Logic Analyzer can have multiple interpreters but this works on captures so it is not continuous. The following script logs 2 SPIs to text files: DigitalIn_Spi_Spy2.py
  16. Hi @PaulGlass Could you explain what trigger condition you need ?
  17. Hi @Hazardsneon Some screenshots would be helpful.
  18. Hi @Conrad2468 Press Boot, select Standard, Rename if you want.
  19. Hi @Caleb Messerly There is no recommended Python version.
  20. Hi @bryan78 Yes. The Counter is supported by Digital Discovery in Logic Analyzer. This topic was about Scope Counter and the DD does not have Scope.
  21. Hi @bryan78 ADP5 is VirtualBench for which I cannot change the firmware.
  22. Hi @clb Right now I'm focusing on testing/fixing to prepare for a release, but probably next week will try improve the table editor.
  23. Hi @Akhilles You can have multiple software instruments open but those sharing a common device resource (oscilloscope, logic analyzer,... and wavegen channels) cannot run at the same time, like Network Analyzer instrument uses oscilloscope resource and optionally 1 or 2 or no wavegen channel.
  24. Unfortunately the AD2 FPGA logic is full, such feature would not fit in the device.
  25. Hi @Kabron It is not supported by AD2, only AD3, ADP3X50, ADP2230...
