  1. I've moved your question to a more appropriate section of the Forum.
  2. Hello @PhilipW. The MCC USB-1808X supports two encoder inputs.
  3. Hello @Fern4ndoh. The KPCI-3107A/ KPCI-3108A boards were not manufactured by Data Translation for Keithley, so Digilent does not support it. Also, there is not enough information in your post regarding how the KPCI-3108 is utilized in your application. Keep in mind that any daq device from our product offerings that may have similar supported capabilities, while require your code to be rewritten with our software library. Additionally, the cable inputs will not be that same as KEITHLEY KPCI-3108.
  4. Hello @ScottFSM. That bit of code looks fine. I do not see where you use pRawDataArraySpaceB in the snippet of code provided earlier in this post. Were there any changes made to the code involving MCC's UL function calls? If you reduce the size of both buffers, does that work? Do you get any errors or just '0' data values? Try slowing your sampling rate and reducing the number of A/D samples to collect, NUMBER_OF_INTEREST_DATASETS. Try running the ULAI04.C example (located in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\Measurement Computing\DAQ\C\Sample32 directory) with your device in the Windows 10 64-bit system. Do you receive valid data with that example? Regards, Fausto
  5. Hello @KoltonS. Attached are the specification sheets of the flat cable and connectors, as well as a drawing of the assembly. We do not have a list of vendors to manufacture the complete cable assembly. Regards, Fausto 3M_50pin_connector.pdf 3M_50pin_flat_cable.pdf 3M_100pin_connector.pdf
  6. Hello @rakeshaashay. For 21 thermocouple inputs and 21 voltage inputs, a user can attach up to 16 thermocouples on the USB-2416-4AO and the remaining 5 thermocouples on the AI-EXP32; all in differential mode. That leaves 22 available analog input channels, with single-ended mode connections, on the AI-EXP32 for the remaining voltage signals. Regards, Fausto
  7. Hello @ailiff. The USB-2408-2AO has a 24-bit A/D, but does not support simultaneous captures. A higher-end option is the DT9857E-16-xAO (SKU: 6069-410-039). The DT9857E-16-xAO supports simultaneous captures with individual 24-bit A/D's, 16 analog input channels, and a maximum sampling rate greater than your requirement. Regards, Fausto
  8. Hello @ScottFSM. Does your code use cbWinBufAlloc32() or cbWinBufAlloc64() to allocate the memory buffer? What size is your memory buffer? What is the total number of samples to be collected? UL Help Regards, Fausto
  9. Hello @johann. Data Translation's QuickDAQ software does not include drivers nor supports the legacy DT2801. The DT2801 Series is unsupported. Driver files and documents can be downloaded from https://files.digilent.com/#archive/DTSoftware/DT2801-Series/ Regards, Fausto
  10. Consider the MCC USB-1608GX with a 500 kS/s maximum aggregate sampling rate instead. If you set the sample rate to 100 kS/s, then for 10 analog input channels, the time between adjacent (channel) acquisition is 0.01 milliseconds. Is that acceptable for your simultaneous requirement?
  11. Hello @ScottFSM. The MCC Universal Library (UL) function, cbAInScan(), is supported in a Windows 64-bit OS. Did you rebuild your application with the current cbw64.dll or cbw32.dll and for an ANY CPU platform? What is the sampling rate range being used? UL Help Regards, Fausto
  12. Hello @vmrak. Thank you for the example. Your device does not appear to have an issue if it is capturing expected data values with valid signal connections. Without a signal connected to the input channels, the USB-1208LS is measuring surrounding environmental noise. MCC devices were designed to work with low impedance signal sources. MCC device inputs that are unconnected (open) are considered high impedance and will charge up to various stray voltages. Notice that your detected amplitudes are in the microvolt range, so disregard those values. Also, as you increase the signal frequency to the device, consider increasing the sample rate and number of samples per channel. Regards, Fausto
  13. Andy, Please share the datasheet of your load cells. Will you be supplying an external power supply to the load cell or expecting the data acq device to provide an excitation power? What is the maximum sampling rate per channel required for your application and is simultaneous channel capture a requirement? A differential wiring configuration for acquisition is typically the norm with load cells. Something to know... Regards, Fausto
  14. Hello @Rhodes. What is the serial number of your USB-1208FS-Plus, as shown on the backside label and in InstaCal? Regards, Fausto
  15. Hello @ailiff. The DT9829-8 samples the analog input channels at a maximum aggregate rate of 960 Hz. The analog input channels are multiplexed into the A/D; not simultaneous. The per channel sampling rate is the specified rate (up to 960 Hz) divided by the number of selected channels. The MCC USB-2408-2AO samples the analog input channels through a multiplexer as well prior to reaching the A/D, also not simultaneous. Please reference the specifications section in the user's guide. If you intend to use thermocouples on the input channels, then as explained in the user's guide, the data rate should be set to 60 Hz in InstaCal. Therefore, decreasing the maximum sampling rate to 57.78 Hz divided by the number of channels selected. (Reference Table 11 in the user's guide.) Do you have either device or looking to use one in your application? Regards, Fausto
  16. Please refrain from posting duplicates. Refer to original post in the MCC subforum.
  17. Hello @vmrak. Which version of Windows OS, LabVIEW, and InstaCal are you using? Please share your vi example. The behavior may be from the frequency vi. Add a display plot to your example. Regards, Fausto
  18. Hello @Bharath Gourabathuni. Have you or your colleagues used the USB-231 with an optical power meter previously? Do you have a datasheet of the optical power meter? Have you reviewed the specifications of the USB-231 to determine if it is suitable for your application? Double click on the USB-231 in InstaCal to set the analog input channels to differential mode. Regards, Fausto
  19. Hello @kumemori. MCC's InstaCal utility software supports MCC devices, no 3rd party devices. From your screen capture of InstaCal, it looks like you have a USB-PDISO8 connected to the target system. Most likely, this MCC device is used by the StreamPix software, but the instructions are not clear why a user must run InstaCal. If there are no configuration instructions for the USB-PDISO8 in the StreamPix manual, then close InstaCal before running the StreamPix software. Regards, Fausto
  20. Do you have an existing configuration? I am looking at a black box application right now based on what's given. What are you attempting to do? Please provide additional information regarding any existing configuration or if you are intending to use the USB-231 for a new application.
  21. Hello @Nikolay Spassov. What changed prior to noticing this issue? Did the target system install a Windows update? Have you tested a different CR5210 and/or USB-1808X module (or channel)? Please elaborate on what conditions cause the CR5210 readings to be bad; include screen captures of DASYLab, hardware images, and wiring schematic to help. Regards, Fausto
  22. Hello @Bharath Gourabathuni. Download and install the MCCDAQ Software onto your Windows OS system. Connect your USB-231 module to the target system and then launch MCC's InstaCal utility to detect the device. Afterwards, close InstaCal and launch DAQami to use the device. Login to Digilent's Cloud for a DAQami license key. Take a look at the following YouTube video for using DAQami. Regards, Fausto
  23. Hello @KoltonS. The MCC cable that was available for the PCIe-DIO96H and SSR-RACK48 was the C100FF-x (x is length in feet). These cables are no longer available at Digilent. Does this LED flicking occur on power up, restart or while running an application? On power-up and reset of the PCIe-DIO96H, the board initializes all digital ports as inputs. Afterwards, then configuration of each port is read from the board's EEPROM. Thus, as you have experienced, the digital lines could be turned on or off every time the board is reset. The PCIe-DIO96H uses 10 kOhm pull resistors. The resistor pull state is configured in MCC's InstaCal utility software. Have you tried powering the SSR-RACK with +5 V only after the PCIe-DIO96H board stabilized after power-up or a reset? In a previous post, you mentioned using a relay to gate the +5 V to the SSR-RACK. Regards, Fausto
  24. So you are using DASYLab 2016 v14.0.1 and Python v2.7.10, not DASYLab 2022, is that correct? Did your previous employee use a Windows 10 OS? Can you share the employee's known good, original DASYLab worksheet?
