Unable to Program the FPGA using IMPACT ( p.20131013), WARNING:iMPACT:923 - Can not find cable, check cable setup !

Hi, 

i also Facing the same issue.. I'm setting up the Spartan 3E system using VM( VirtualBox -Win7 IE8) with installed with ISE 14.7 on my WIN 10 PC. 

the USB connection showed in Device Manager is Xilinx USE Cable, but when I run the IMPACT to program the FPGA it show the error below:

anyone have the idea to resolve this problem? I'm try many way also cannot detect the cable

Hello,

I'm not certain why iMPACT is not detecting the board. We haven't worked with Xilinx's virtual machine that they released to target these older systems, so I'm not certain what the problem might be, especially the Digilent Plugin is already integrated as part of Xilinx's virtual machine release.
