  1. Hi Michael, Thanks. Yes, I plugged the JTAG-HS2 directly into header J8 of the ZCU102, I just wanted to verify that my HS2 didn't support 1.8V, I also connected the HS2 to our Kintex Ultrascale+ PCBA withnot onboard JTAG, 1.8V power supply for Bank 0, also couldn't find the FPGA. Thanks Luo Yong
  2. Hi JColvin , 1.When attempting to detect the various Ultrascale boards, do you already have a connection to the Vivado Hardware Manager? My understanding is that you would not be able see the same downstream JTAG device through different programmers; you would have to physically disconnect one before the other one appears in the Hardware Manager (simply closing the JTAG connection in the Hardware Manager is not enough). Vivado Hardware Manager could identify on-board adept and HS2, ony on-board adept could find FPGA, HS2 couldn't. 2.Are you using an extension cable of any kind? I'm guessing not based on how you can see a Spartan 7 board, but that was the issue in this thread. I used both cables that came with HS2 and ZCU102 board, same issue. 3.Extra capacitance is always a point of concern in these types of issues. I haven't looked at how the ZCU102 implements the separate 2x7 JTAG header, but I would like to believe that there isn't any existing issue (or at least anecdotally, this post from a different site indicates the poster had successfully used the JTAG HS3 with the ZCU102 without issue). I'm not certain how the other Kintex Ultrascale boards implement or set up their JTAG connection, so that might be worth checking. Ultrascale+ and ZCU102 vref is 1.8V, Spartan7 and ZYNQ is 3.3V. I bought my HS2 adept in 2016, Does it support 1.8V? The new version supports 1.8-5V, I'm not sure if the old version supports 1.8V? 4.I know you mentioned that you tried multiple JTAG frequencies, but did you try both 30 MHz and the 6 MHz (the Xilinx Platform Cable USB II uses 6 MHz by default for TCK)? There was a curious thread on the Digilent Forum here where a Virtex Ultrascale was only working at 30 MHz with a JTAG HS3, but not a lower frequencies, although the Xilinx Platform Cable apparently consistently worked for them at lower frequencies. There wasn't a resolution to this thread, but I figured I would bring it up in case this helps figure out the connection problem you are having. I tried every possible frequency, include 30Mhz and 6Mhz. Thanks. Luo Yong
  3. Hi JColvin , I Use Vivado 2020.2,I connect ZCU102 board with on-board digilent adept, can find the FPGA like below. changed to HS2 in vivado 2020.2 or 2017.4, couldn't find the FPGA at any speed. I connect spartan7 board with HS2, it could identify. Thanks. Luo Yong
  4. Hello @JColvin , Thank you, now it could find spartan7, ZYNQ PL and ZYNQ PS. But still couldn't find Kintex UltraScale+, like XCKU3P or XCKU15P, It's a strange phenomenon. Luo Yong
  5. Hello @JColvin , I am having the same problem the Digilent HS2. Please help me how to restore to default value, thanks. Luo Yong
