KarokanDefense
Hello, I would like to know if there is an easy way to measure the duty cycle and frequency of a digital input in the same way as in the oscilloscope. Thank you for your support.
JColvin
Hi @KarokanDefense, I'm not certain if this is exactly the answer you are looking for, but the general tool that is the digital version of an oscilloscope is called a Logic Analyzer. Let me know if you have any other questions about this. Thanks, JColvin
KarokanDefense
Hi JColvin, Thank you for your quick feedback. My question is more related to how can I measure -- in an automatic way -- the duty cycle and frequency in the logic analyzer without using the cursors. In the scope, there is a measurement option that can give me multiple measurements per channels, I was wondering if the same functionality is available for the logic analyzer and if so how can I use it. Thank you in advance!
JColvin
Hi @KarokanDefense, Are you referring to WaveForms Live with the OpenScope MZ or the WaveForms software for the Analog Discovery 2? Thanks, JColvin
KarokanDefense
Waveforms software for Analog Discovery 2 -- I'm sorry I missed that in my original post. Thank you!
JColvin
Hi @KarokanDefense, I have moved your question to a more appropriate section of the Forum where the creator of the WaveForms software will be able to see and respond to your question with much more accuracy than I can provide. attila
Hi @KarokanDefense There are no scope-like-measurement available in the Logic Analyzer. You could use the quick measure or you can connect the signal to a Scope input.
