Analog Discovery 2 - four channels as generators

Hello -- 

I would like to know if the analog discovery 2 can be configured to have the scopes channels as signal wave generators and vice-versa ( the signal generator as scopes channels ).

I have moved your question to a more appropriate section of the forum.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the oscilloscope channels be reconfigured as waveform generators or vice-versa since the channels are using their own dedicated circuitry which you can find more detail on in the Analog Discovery 2 Reference Manual here: https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/instrumentation/analog-discovery-2/reference-manual.

What you could do though is use multiple Analog Discovery 2's connected to your machine and get the channels to trigger in sync; there is a thread discussing that here which nicely includes a couple of other threads discussing this topic.

I found that under device manager in the option number 6 that is possible to configure the wavegen to have 4 channels, this is assuming that we have another analog device connected?

With the 6th configuration of AD2 you can use the power supplies as slow AWGs.
