AHT
Hi All, I'm using my AD2 in a VDI Debian Linux. I've installed digilent.adept.runtime_2.27.9-amd64.deb digilent.adept.utilities_2.7.1-amd64.deb digilent.waveforms_3.22.2_amd64.deb After installation, I reboot my VDI and in terminal I ran `dadutil enum` and here is what I get ~/Downloads ➜ dadutil enum No devices found Any insight/help is very much appreciated. I should also mention that when I install WaveForms on Windows, the device is recognized and works like a charm. Thanks Edited April 6 by AHT
0 JColvin
Hello, I have moved your question to a more appropriate section of the Forum where the WaveForms developer will be able to see and respond to your question with more accuracy than I can provide. Thanks, JColvin AHT
0 attila
Hi @AHT Did you attach the 'Digilent USB Device' to the virtual machine ?
0 AHT
@attila: The USB is attached to my Windows laptop on which the Linux virtual machine is running.
0 attila
Hi @AHT The WaveForms application is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. The "USB Device" should be 'software attached' to the Virtual Machine if you want to control it from this. Which VM are you using ?
0 AHT
Thanks @attila. I'm using VMWare Horizon Client on which I have a Debian OS. On my VMWare, I have only "USB Unavailable". Edited April 22 by AHT
0 AHT
I should mention that I have USB keyboard, USB mouse, and even USB headphone. None of those are recognized by the Horizon Client, but all working when I use my virtual machine Debian.
