MCDAQ USB-1616HS-4: Instrument runs into unresponsive stare requiring PC reboot

Hi, we run into an unresponsive state while measuring using the DAQ and it requires a PC reboot to fix the issue. Non-periodic and not sure how to reproduce but face it every so often. Is it a drive issue or certain commands causing buffer overflow not sure. Any advice is appreciated.

There are no known issues that cause the USB-1616HS to become unresponsive. What error number do you get when the buffer overflow occurs? Is this a new application or did you make any recent changes? What is the version of Windows and InstaCal, and what is the programming environment?
