Waveforms programming of pulse train digital output

I need to implement a digital output as pulse train, which has the following parameters:

1.  External digital trigger;

2. Programmble delay;

3. Programmable duty cycle;

4.  Programmable polarity.

I am a c/c++ coder, could you please show me an example code?
