Kuntal Mukherjee
Hello Everybody, I have a Digital Discovery and I want to generate a pattern which having 26MHz clock but Digital Discovery support only 50 MHz or 25 MHz Is there any option from where I can select 26MHz clock or i can provide 26 MHz clock from outside as a external clock? I am very new in this forum and also this product. So please any help it will be a great support for me. Thank you in Advance. Kuntal
0 JColvin
Hi @Kuntal Mukherjee, In the Supplies Tool, just below the option to change the logic voltage levels, there is an option to change the clock frequency used on the right hand side. You can change it to something like 52 MHz so you can directly get your 26 MHz clock that way (or overclock it to 104 MHz, but then of course you would be operating out of spec so your mileage may vary). Regarding the external clock, you can't do that directly on the Digital Discovery, but there is a Sync capture mode that may be what you are interested in. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, JColvin
0 Kuntal Mukherjee
Hi @JColvin, Thanks for your quick reply . Now we can able to generate internally 26 MHz by flowing your step. Try to generate same thing by using python script .Is it possible? Also try to understand how to use external clock. Thank you once again for your great help.
