Instacal and firmware issue with USB-1408FS Plus

Instacal assigns serial number 0 to our USB-1408FS Plus OEM board and our Visual Basic program cannot initialize the board.  If the firmware is renamed from USB-1408FS.hex to USB-1408FS-Plus.hex and downloaded, Instacal assigns the board serial number 117, our Visual Basic program appears to initialize the board, but the board does not function properly.

Is there a USB-1408FS-Plus.hex firmware file available that should be used, or are we doing something wrong?

Hello,

The firmware is not interchangeable because the USB-1408FS-Plus design is different than the older USB-1408FS. If the USB-1408FS is within the one-year warranty, reach out to your distributor for a replacement.
