ADP5250 not detected in Waveforms on Linux

chip

Question

Hi,

I have an ADP5250 that is not being detected in Waveforms on Linux. I have tried reinstalling both the Adept drivers and Waveforms.

The device works fine on Windows, so I don't think the ADP5250 is to blame. Also, when I plug in an old Analog Discover 2 on the same Linux machine, it also works fine. It seems to be only the combination of ADP5250 + Linux that is not working.

Of interest may be the dmesg output. For the ADP5250, there's no FTDI driver loaded:

But for the AD2, it recognizes the FDTI USB chip:

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
