digital discovery WaveForms: Searching through decoded output

I seem to be decoding 1-Wire UART successfully (more by luck than skill).

1. I have stream of Data how do I search through that data?
2. How do I convert the hex code into ASCII?

Hi @binaryBasher,

I have moved your question to a more appropriate section of the Forum where the engineer much more familiar with the 1-Wire functionality in WaveForms will be able to see and respond to your question.

I'm guessing you're analyzing the 1-Wire data via the Logic Analyzer? If you have a captured set of data, I believe you are able to view the data through either the Data or Events which is available under the View tab, though I may be misunderstanding what you mean by search through the data.

I'm not sure if the currently captured hex code in the logic analyzer can easily be viewed as ASCII data instead; I'll need to defer to the more experienced engineer (though they likely won't see this post until Monday).

You can use the Logic Analyzer (ASCII/HEX representation looks like this) or the Protocol / UART (for text only).
