Why don't actual beta versions of WaveForms come in rpm format?

Someone

Question

The actual beta version of Waveforms is 3.16.35, but the last one featuring a Linux rpm is 3.16.17. Overall these betas are released as a wild mixture sometimes with only the Windows version. Why is that so? I would like to testdrive, but need rpm. Thanks

Hi @Someone,

My understanding is that the beta versions are usually only made for limited releases, usually for whatever OS the requestor is using. You can always request that an rpm build is made for a particular beta version; I imagine it's just one of those things where extra time isn't dedicated towards extra build versions if there isn't any expressed interest.

Thanks,
JColvin
