smeredith
This looks like a bug. On Windows, if using a sound card, wavegen only plays audio on the default sound device, regardless of which sound device you select in Waveforms. Repro steps: Start with a Windows PC with 2 sound cards. Make sound card 1 the default playback device for Windows. Open Waveforms and select sound card 2 as the output device. Generate a waveform. Actual result: the sound comes out of sound card 1. Expected result: it should come out of sound card 2. Change the default output device on Windows to sound card 2. Generate the waveform again. Now the sound comes out of sound card 2.
JColvin
Hi @smeredith, I have moved your question to a section of the Forum where the engineer most familiar with the WaveForms will be able to see your feedback. Thanks, JColvin
