jpeyron
Hi @rocky11, Welcome to the Digilent Forums! I made your post a new thread since it might not be the EEPROM. 1) Please download Adept 2 here. 2) While the JTAG-HS3 is connected to the PC. Please attach screen shots of the script when Adept 2 it connected to the JTAG-HS3. 3) While the JTAG-HS3 is connected to the PC. Please attach screen shots of the device manager with Ports and Universal serial bus Controllers expanded. thank you, Jon

Yuval
Hello, I also have issues with JTAG-HS3. On some PCs, it's not identified by the Vivado HW manager (though correctly appears in the device manager, as “USB serial converter”). The same PC works well with Xilinx cable, and also with Digilent larger size programmer (XUP USB-JTAG PROGRAMMING CABLE) There seem to be no HW malfunction of the JTAG-HS3: The same JTAG-HS3 is identified by Vivado HW manager on another PC Another JTAG-HS3 also fails on that same PC Assuming it is a driver issue, I tried reinstalling the drivers with the batch files and directly typing: wdreg -compat -inf %cd%\windrvr6.inf uninstall wdreg -compat -inf %cd%\xusbdrvr.inf uninstall wdreg -compat -inf %cd%\windrvr6.inf install wdreg -compat -inf %cd%\xusbdrvr.inf install Anyone has any other drivers troubleshooting suggestions or any other advice? jpeyron
Hi @Yuval, Have you done a full reboot of your computer? I had to do a full reboot of my computer to get the changes to take place. best regards, Jon
Yuval
Hi Jon @jpeyron Following your recommendation - rebooted the computer and indeed this solved it! JTAG_HS3 is now recognized and works properly. Thanks!!
