m2b821
Hello, I would like to know if someone has already tested the TDNext Pmod camera with Nexys Video or Basys3? Link: http://www.zedboard.com/product/tdnext-126mpixel-pmod-camera-kit From hardware description/specification point of view, it looks like the device should be compatible. Thanks! JColvin
Hi @m2b821, From my understanding, none of the Digilent engineers have used that particular camera, but it does look electrically and physically (in terms of spacing between the two Pmod headers) compatible with the Basys 3 and Nexys Video. One immediate concern that I do have though is that Product Brief states that it is compatible with the various Zed products (Zedboard, microzed, etc), so if the provided design is expecting to use the ARM core, which it looks like it will be doing based on their Getting Started Guide, the Basys 3 and Nexys Video will not be compatible as they are Artix chips rather than a Zynq chip, unless you are comfortable porting a bare metal design to Microblaze or HDL.
