SDK flash tutorial

Hello All,

I had a question about writing to flash on the Arty board.  Issues I am running into are that after following the Tutorial on how to write to the Micron Serial NOR Flash the program doesn't run after a power cycle. It runs after a soft reset, ie pushing the reset button on the arty board, but not after a power cycle.  The only luck ive had is flashing a simple hello world program that just has the print statement in a while(1) loop but when I try to put the echo_server example it will not boot up from the flash it just gets stuck. 

Any and all help/comments are appreciated please let me know what I could be doing wrong.

Hi @bdina77,

Based on you other thread you have an arty board. Please clarify which Arty you have i.e. Arty-Z7, Arty-S7 arty-A7...? Tomorrow i will try to install the echo server on flash.

From the box it says Artix-35T FPGA dont know if this helps

Hi @bdina77,

Thank you for clarifying which board. I will respond tomorrow on your other forum thread after trying to put the echo server into the arty-A7-35t's flash.
