Cannot Reach Digilent Tutorial Dialog Box

When i am working on your tutorial "Getting Started with Vivado". I cannot get to the dialog box that says select RTL Project and make sure to check "Do not Specify sources at this time"

instead i get to the add files dialog box and I am unsure as to how to get to the dialog box that you say. I remember that I did it once, but how I o not know. 

 

The tutorial was created with Vivado 16.4 and I am using Vivado 17.4. So that may make a difference. This seems like such a low level question,but I am stuck.  The attached graphics show my progress. The last dialog box should be the one with select RTL project. It is not.

What am I doing wrong?

 

Anyway, what am i doing wrong?

Hi @Newport_j,

The getting started with vivado tutorial is meant to work with Vivado and not Vivado HLS. Vivado is the top icon in the attached screen shot. We do not currently have any materials/tutorials for Vivado HLS.

I think thta I got the answer to this. I loaded the wrong icon on my desktop.

 

Vivado 17.4  should be the one loaded,not Vivado HLS 17.4. 

 

I am now in the correct dialog box.

Okay, you are correct. It just seems that the first window looks like it came from it got me on the wrong rack. Sorry for the foolish 

question.
