Umang
Will the Waveforms 3 have CAN interpreter in the logic analyzer for Analog discovery? I would really appreciate it if anyone who has used the beta version can answer this question. (including people working at digilent)
JColvin
Hi Umang, As per this post, the Waveforms application does not currently support the CAN bus protocol (as per March 25th). I do not know if there are plans to implement it in the future though, although I agree it would be a useful feature to have. Thanks,JColvin
rp-prew
Hi Umang, As it stands now there are five different logic signal analysis methods. There's a normal signal analysis. There's Bus analyzer (I'm assuming that's what you are looking for). There's an SPI analzer. There's an I2C analyzer. Finally, there's an UART analyzer. I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Also you may be able to download the beta if you check out this forum thread. https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/98-waveforms3-beta/ Best Regards, Bobby
Umang
I am talking about CAN bus protocol usually used in automotive applications. Follow the link. It seems like a good addition that they might want to add into the newer software.
