eric_A
I've been using a lot the Uno32, and its SPI can reach ~25MHz with some change in the library. Now I'm looking for a device that could be slave SPI @ 40 MHz, so I was wondering which of the kit could be the best, let's say the fastest. I've seen the Wi-FIRE shows a 50 MHz SPI, can it work with an external 40 MHz clock? Any advice is welcome, Regards, Eric
JColvin
Hi Eric, Out of our microcontroller boards, the Wi-FIRE is the fastest and the only one that I am aware of that could reach your desired speed. What I still need to find out though is if the new Wi-FIRE (the one in production) truly reaches that speed; I know the pre-production silicon that is on the boards that Digilent sells did not meet the specification that Microchip originally claimed it would reach. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks,JColvin
