JColvin
Hello! Many of you have seen many larger LED cubes, but connecting the 512 LED's present in an 8x8x8 LED cube can be rather daunting, but from this Instructable you can take a step back and check out how we would put together (and operate) a 3x3x3 LED cube. ramk
Hi, I am a beginner and searching for the step by step tutorial for 6X6X6 Led cube, like this 3X3 led cube and one instructable which you have mentioned. I am trying very hard to make 6X6 but its getting more and more difficult to build it. I have built 3X3 using the mentioned article. Please can you provide me some link/tutorial specially with more images, it will be great help or if you can provide me some hint/help, that how to connect those 6X6X6 leds. Thanks Ramk
JColvin
Hi Ramk, I personally haven't made a 6x6x6 LED cube so I can't offer any personal experience, but I would probably take a look at this Instructable on a 5x5x5 LED cube. It's one size less than a 6x6x6 LED cube, but the idea behind the construction and making sure the all of the cathodes and anodes are connected appropriately are the same. In terms of getting the cube up and running, that is more ambiguous as there are many different styles of both code instruction and what chips that are all equally viable in getting the cube to work.
