BASYS2 DCM 500+MHz

Hello.  I am using the BASYS2 and I am trying to use DCM to multiply the clock from 50MHz to 500MHz.  I am only unable to increase the clock to 311MHz.  How do I increase the clock to 500MHz?

Does the Basys2 internal clocking even support 500MHz?  Judging from p143 of the Spartan 3E data sheet, the highest frequency you can get out of the digital clock manager is only 307 MHz.

According to the reference manual, it can support "500 MHz+ operation."  Thanks for taking the time to give feedback.

Is this a typo in the reference manual? Seems , as Dan mentioned referring to the datasheet for the Spartan 3E family DCM , 300 MHz+ seems like a more plausible number

Unfortunately. this is a typo. It should be 300+ MHz.  We have updated the store and wiki page. Let us know if you see 500 MHz + anywhere else.
