CMOD A7 35T Does not boot from SPI flash

Hi,

 

i am using Vivado 2016.4 and i followed the steps at  cmod-a7-programming-guide    to create a BIN file from my project that i then loaded to the onboard ROM with no problem. If i use the 'Boot from configuration memory device' in Vivado the FPGA load the correct bitstream, but fi i power-cycle the FPGA (unplug and n plug USB) the DONE led never lits and my design is not loaded. I there any project configuration option that i forgot to tick ? Is there anything special in the constraints files to add to get this to work ?

Hi @jpiat,

I just completed the tutorial. You should select add memory configuration device instead of Boot from memory device as shown in section 4 of the tutorial you linked.
