Intro

Hi,  My name is Dave and as my UN indicates, I am an old printer, offset if that means anything. Like a lot of people in my trade I have switched fields, to the sign industry. Still graphic arts, but with an emphasis on 3 dimensional. My interest here is hobby related. I am teaching myself electronics, with a lot of help from internet sources like this forum and the endless instructional material on YouTube. My bench/lab consists mostly of analog equipment like a couple Tek scopes, a 475 and a 2225, an older wave generator and frequency counter. I just bought one of the original Analog Discovery's as my first digital piece of equipment. I expect to get a Rigol 1054Z not too far down the road, but this will get me going for now.

I am currently reading some posts, researching the correct/best version of the software to install for the AD1 on Win 7/64. If I have problems I will post in the Scopes forum.

Hi @Old Printer,

Waveforms 2015 is the software you should be using. I would suggest to use the most recent version since we are improving functionality and fixing any issues found with each update of the software.
