gordon
We are interested in using a FTDI chip (FT4232H chipset) similar to the JTAG-SMT2-NC Digilent offers. But we need 3 uart ports and 1 jtag port to interface with Xilinx Ultrascale+ devices. Does Digilent have any product for such a device? Thanks! jpeyron
Hi @gordon, Unfortunately, we currently do not have a programming solution that will support 3 uart ports and 1 Jtag interface. thank you, Jon
Paul M
Hi Is there still no solution for the FT4232H? Xilinx HW-Z1-ZCU111 has the FT4232H on it for JTAG and UART. Do you license the IP to configure the device?
jpeyron
Hi @Paul M, I have not heard of any development work being done on a FT4232H or anything similar as of yet. thank you, Jon
Paul M
Hi there @jpeyron is Xilinx using your IP for the HW-Z1-ZCU111 USB JTAG using the FT4232H? Thanks Paul
JColvin
Hi @Paul M, Digilent's programming circuitry is proprietary, as is Xilinx's I believe, so I do not know whether or not Xilinx is using the same programming method as we our for our boards. Thanks, JColvin
