twilkers
Can a math function be used to trigger waveform capture? I'm doing a difference voltage across a shunt resistor. the magnitude is rather small, so triggering on the difference would be much preferred. jpeyron
Hi @twilkers, I believe this can be done using a script. I have tagged the engineer that would be able to give you the best response to your question( @attila). thank you, Jon
attila
Hi @twilkers Only real channel can be used for triggering. Trigger on math is not supported. In case you are using Analog Discovery (1|2), this has differential inputs. You can directly measure the voltage drop on the shunt resistor with one channel (difference between 1+&1- or 2+&2-) and trigger on this.
