SL01
Since Digilent is owned by NI, are there ways to interface a NI digitizer such as a 14-bit PCI-5122 or a 24-bit PCI-5922 to Waveform 2015? What would be required?
jpeyron
Hi @SL01, My understanding is that Waveforms 2015 software is made to interface with only the Digilent scopes(not including the Openscope). I believe there would need to be changes to the software to be able to interface with the NI digitizer 14-bit PCI-5122 or a 24-bit PCI-5922. @attila could you verify this. thank you, Jon
SL01
Hi Jon, Thanks for your reply I ask because WF2015 is a nicer, more functionally complete UI than the NI-Scope Soft Front Panel. But the NI digitizers have far lower noise than the AD2. If there is a way to make it work, that would be the best of both worlds.
jpeyron
Hi @SL01, Glad to hear you like Waveforms 2015. I have passed your request on to the appropriate people. cheers, Jon
attila
Hi @SL01 I don't expect WaveForms to support such devices in the near future. This is how the AD2 spectrum looks like:
