Hi @cobybrown,

What keeps breaking on the USB connector? Is it un-mounting? I would not suggest drilling in the PCB. I talked with one of our design engineers. Looking through the CAD design you would hit some traces that would cause issues with the board. If the USB has become unmounted you will need to remount it by re-soldering it. Also I know in times past to help stop a USB from un-mounting we have secured the USB with epoxy.

Hi @cobybrown,

Please don't drill because you'll make a short on the internal supply planes. If you want to improve fixing you might increase the scratched-soldered surface and/or solder a piece of metal on top of the USB plug...but don't stress the plug with heat long time. See picture attached
