Pitsco TETRIX PRIME for NI myRIO reading motor encoders

rdoswald

Question

Hello,

I'm using the Pitsco TETRIX PRIME for NI myRIO  and the sensor board that comes with it is from Digilent, but is different than the motor adapter.  The kit comes with two DC motors and each has an encoder attached.  I can only read from the encoder plugged into "motor1" port.  Is it possible to read the other motor's encoder? I read this forum, but I think it's a little different:

Hello,

Are you referring to the motor controller board that comes in the kit (images here and here)? If so, Digilent did not actually make that board (you can see a list of the components that Digilent made in that kit on page 9 of this guide). It is a custom made board by Pitsco, so you will need to contact Pitsco support for assistance since we cannot offer hardware support in this regard.

I'm sorry I could not be of more help.

Thank you,
JColvin
