ground pins on PCIe-DAS1602/16

xing

Question

Hi, I recently purchased a PCIe-DAS1602/16 card, and the pin outs show that there are 3 'LLGND' pins for the analog ouput, and 6 'GND' pins for the digital output. Are 1) the 3 analog output grounds tied together; and 2) the 6 digital output grounds tied together? Thanks.

The grounds are connected. However, the LLGND should be reserved for your analog inputs. Its ground path is run so that ground noise from digital signals is kept away from the analog measurement for better results.
