RJohnson
Hello: I have read that the chipkit core software does not work well with Arduino IDE 1.6.9. Does anyone know it work with the newest 1.6.12? Also if i update to a newer version of Arduino will the board packages for uC32 come along from current installation? Thanks i am new to this. jpeyron
Hi Richard, I just downloaded the 1.6.12 version of arduino and it has the uC32 board available. The only software issues i was aware of is the plib.h is not available for arduino due to it not being open source. So any demo's or tutorials we provided that used plib.h would not work in arduino. Other than that you should have no problems using the arduino ide with the uC32. cheers, Jon

Jacob Christ
The issue with Arduino IDE 1.6.9 was that it cannot cause the FTDI to tickle the reset line of boards that use FTDI. I'm using 1.6.12 without issue with a WiFire (among others) Jacob
