Analog Discovery 2 Waveform Generator Idle State as end voltage

jerry iii

Question

Hi,

I am looking to see if there is a way to use the Waveform Generator and have the idle state as the end voltage.

The idea is that I want to test a part by ramping rise times however, at least in the GUI, it looks like I can only select Initial or Offset.

One possible solution I was thinking was I could have a custom waveform and modify the initial voltage to be the end voltage with a small period of 0v and then a ramp to the end voltage which could work but I'd like to see if there is a better way of doing this.

I haven't gotten to looking in the SDK to see if this is easier to do it that way.

Looking at simple example below I was hoping the multiple waveforms would be able to accomplish this by having the first run and then the second would run proving the static end voltage.

Sorry in advance if I missed a discussion on this already.

Thanks,
