How to export the osciloscope data in a long time measurememnt.

Hello to all,

this is my first post and it is related to how can I export the oscilloscope data in a long time measurement, I mean that, for example, I will start a 30 minutes experiment using the waveform generator to have two different signals, but i don't want to save all the 30 minutes, I just want 10 seconds every minute.

I have been searching and I have seen how to do a single export using the script part of the oscilloscope logging, but I don't know how to do multiples exports.

I think that I have to configure the Recording with the desired rate and time, but I don't know how to call it sequentially.

 

Can anyone help me?

Hi @Franchis

It can be done with the Script tool but it is easier and more precise to use a dummy Pattern or Wavegen for hardware timer (Run: 30min).
In Scope set Trigger: Normal, Source: in the respective instrument and use the Logging tool for auto export.

 

The next software version push the Update rate limit from 10s to 1hr.
