jmartin_troy
I'm looking to decode USB 1.1 D+/D- signals. Byte values are fine, full protocol is not necessary. Is this something I can do with the Analog Discovery 3?
0 attila
Hi @jmartin_troy The WaveForms application does not provide interpreter for USB signals. The capture length with AD3 may be insufficient for this purpose. Custom interpreter can be implemented in the Logic Analyzer interface. ADP3X50, ADP2230... provide deep buffers for analog and digital inputs, but the scope channels on these devices are single ended. With AD3 oscilloscope you could capture up to 64k samples. (Streaming for larger captures is working up 10MSps which is not sufficient for USB FS.) The analog signals can be digitized in the digital view which is a Logic Analyzer embedded in the Scope interface. The USB signals could also be directly captured with the device DIOs in the Logic Analyzer.
