Question

Posted

Hello,

We have been using the DT9837A DAQ model for some time on windows 10.
For this we installed the latest OMNI CD from: https://files.digilent.com/#downloads/DTSoftware/Omni-CD/.

At first we used an older version which resulted in a Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) when (accidentally) removing the USB-cable during a measurement.
In the release notes however, we noticed that there was a fix in v7.5.0 of the OMNI CD for this issue and updated the drivers to v7.8.9.

A month ago we upgraded all our testing laptops to windows 11 and now this BSOD issue has returned, even when installing v7.8.9.

Is there anything we can do to prevent this issue on windows 11?

Thanks in advance,
Micky

I have duplicated the Windows 11 crash using QuickDAQ 3.7.0.49 and will report it to the engineering group. Unfortunately, I don't have a workaround other than using Windows 10 or safeguarding the USB cable.
