DAQami Error

We are getting error while opening DAQami software.

CLR Error : 80004005 The Program will now terminate. Fatal Error. 

How  to resolve the issue.

Hello @rakeshaashay.

Install or re-install the MCC InstaCal utility software.  Afterwards, dowload and reinstall DAQami.

Is this the first time using DAQami on this system or has DAQami worked in the past, on this system?

Are the other applications running in the background?

An internet search found the following suggestion on a Microsoft knowledgebase post.

"The error message CLR error: 80004005 is also related to the version of your Microsoft . Net Framework. In order to solve this issue, you need to reinstall Microsoft . Net Framework to the latest version and see if that helps."

From a Windows Command Prompt, run appwiz.cpl

Click on Turn Windows features on or off.

Select .NET Framework 3.5 and then the OK button.  Restart your system and then retest DAQami.

We have tried this but still there is issue. It is just opening the initial window of DAQami and closing it automatically

Does the target system have the current version of InstaCal installed?

Next, use Windows' File Explorer and browse to the C:\users\{username}\Documents\Measurement Computing\DAQami folder. There you will find DAQami's configuration file called daqami.mcfg.  Delete this file.  When you restart DAQami, a new configuration file is created.  The problem may be a corrupt configuration file.  Does that resolve the issue?
