qwertylex
Is it possible to record the analog and digital inputs simultaneously/synchronously to a file? I would like to capture CH1, CH2 and DIO 0 together. Saved to a .WAV or other suitable format. Preferably 1MHz sample rate. Thanks
0 attila
Hi @qwertylex Add Digital signals or interpreters in Scope and Add custom Math channel with digital channels name (or other operations if needed), then export. (Natively it is not supported since analog and digital can have different number of samples and rate. qwertylex
0 qwertylex
Thanks. Including math channels in the Record feature to record to wav/bin/tdms would be useful. The export feature doesn't capture a long enough period of data for me. I need something like 1MHz for 5 minutes. Be it for digital such as this, or if you would like to apply a math filter and record the filtered output to a file. Having better playback from file support would be good too. I find some shortcomings in loading recorded files for later analysis. For example having recorded a file with a 200x differential probe of a 170V signal; Loading the file later, I can't set the channel range big enough to show the whole signal. The top and bottom get clipped off. The attenuation feature doesn't seem to do anything in that mode. Meanwhile it displayed fine during normal live playback (not from a file). 0 attila
Hi @qwertylex The Record capture in the application is limited to 200M samples/channel, 200sec @ 1MHz Allowing Math channels in "Record to File" could slow down the process causing device buffer overflow. With AD3, ADP3X50... you also have in device filter channels. To visualize imported high values, change the Channel's Attenuation to adjusts the selectable Range, like with 100X it lets to set 500V/div.
