MCC E-1608 Fail software upgrade

I have a MCC E-1608 with version 1.01 firmware. I downloaded the E-1608.hex file and copied it into the firmware upgrade directory.

When I selected download it responded back with erase failure and two LED lights started blinking.

When I cycled power, the two LEDs continued to blink and it would not join the network.

I attempted to perform a reset to factory default by holding the reset button while appling power and releasing the button after 4 seconds.

This has not changed the performance of the board. I still can not restore connectivity to the board.

How do I restore operation to the E1608?

Is this a problem I have to return the board to you to resolve this problem?

You can force it into bootloader mode as described in the forum thread below. And then after, you may have to use a router as described by the user. Otherwise, it's a trip back to the factory.
