RS232 connection via USB virtual Com port to DVM (GW INSTEK GDM-8342)
If I query this instrument using PuTTY with *IDN?, I get an appropriate response always.
If I use DASYLab's Serial Monitor and send *IDN?, I have to send the query many times before the serial monitor shows an appropriate response. This should be simple, yet I cannot get reliable communication between the instrument and DASYLab.
