FlyingBlindOnARocketCycle
It appears to me that the MGT bank on the Basys 3 is not routed for use per the schematic. Is that correct? Thanks

FlyingBlindOnARocketCycle
Curious. Why choose to not route the more powerful of the I/O on the chip?
jpeyron
FlyingBlindOnARocketCycle, We wanted the Basys 3, our introductory board, set at a low cost for the customer. Routing the MGT pins would have added cost to the board that we felt was not warrented. One option is our Nexys Video, which has the high speed MGT pins routed to a high speed connector, the FMC. thank you, Jon
