Irem Tural
Hi, is there a way to find an average of the pressure v time data in DAQami if the data is noisy or would it have to be done during post processing? Or are there other tips for making the data less noisy?
0 DAQman
The DAQami software does not have an averaging function. The DASYLab software has an Average feature; for most applications, DASYLab Lite is sufficient. If you connect other things, disconnect them leaving only the pressure sensor. Acquire some data, and if most of the noise goes away, you are likely dealing with a ground loop with one of the other sensors. If the noise stays, you still could have a ground loop, depending on your setup. For example, the USB-2408 has an isolated USB connection, but the USB-1608G does not. If your device is not isolated, there could be a ground loop between the pressure sensor power supply and the computer's ground.
