PyroTom
Hi there, I am trying to install use pydwf and python together with a DigitalDiscovery in CI on a (ubuntu based) docker image. I'll use it for automated tests to simulate and check outputs of a microcontroller to do some hardware-in-the-loop tests. It was quite hard to find the correct dependencies but my main problem is, that I have to manually check for updates as I wasn't able to find a link to the most actual package. Is there any possibility to get something like that? Thanks and BR Thomas
Guest
Hi @PyroTom I am the guy who makes the pydwf Python package. > It was quite hard to find the correct dependencies Can you tell me what was hard, and what could be done to improve it? > I have to manually check for updates as I wasn't able to find a link to the most actual package. It's not clear to me what you mean by that. Are you referring to the pydwf Python package? Or to something else (eg, Digilent's Adept and Waveforms software on which it depends)? The latest pydwf package is at https://pypi.org/project/pydwf/ and can just be installed by doing a `pip3 install pydwf`.
