Is there a way to isolate the probe ground from earth ground?
In our circuit the IC ground potential is approx 10V above the supply ground, we keep blowing chips and believe it's due to the fact the chip is seeing a higher voltage than it can withstand due to the probe ground being connected to earth ground thru the scope/PC supply.
