Frame rate

Maxime

Question

Hi,

In an experiment of mines, I’m currently using an Analog Discovery 2 for generating a signal of frequency 2.5 MHz via Matlab. In such a configuration, it seems that the frame rate has a maximum limit at 300 kHz, which is way too low for my need. My questions are:

1. Is there a way to increase that frame rate limit up to 5 MHz and more ?
2. Can the Analog Discovery 3 achieve a greater frame rate than the Analog discovery 2 ? To what extent ?

Thank you very much in advance for your answers.
Kind regards,

Maxime

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. Yes, I agree, it is quite fast when used via the waveforms software, but things seem to be completely different when used via Matlab. It does not allow me to set the sample rate to higher than 300kHz. Then of course I end up with aliasing, which is confirmed when I look at the signal with an external oscilloscope. I could maybe show the code I use to illustrate better.
