Waveforms exits after device selection (raspberry pi/linux)

santa

Question

I'm trying to get Waveforms up and running on my new raspberry pi 4, but it doesn't make it past the device selection screen

I downloaded Waveforms in the ARM 32-bit .deb package. And I downloaded the Adept Runtime labeled for raspberry pi.

I installed the packages with dpkg per the instructions on the digilent site.

After starting the application, the main window will appear as expected.

If I don't have my Analog Discovery Studio plugged in, the menu with the demo devices appears and allows me to select one. The program immediately exits after this. If I have the device plugged in and turned on, it will briefly show a window that appears to recognize the device and read the serial number, but then will immediately exit.

There are no error messages or crash reports, so I'm a bit lost in terms of troubleshooting. The fact that the application loads at all seems to suggest I've got the installation at least halfway correct. I've tried restarting the pi, and powering the Analog Discovery on and off. I've tried reinstalling the packages as well.

Hi @ffggt

For Linux install digilent.adept.runtime... and digilent.waveforms...
For 32bit ARM OS install ...armhf.deb variants and for 64bit ARM OS the ...arm64.deb

https://digilent.com/reference/software/adept/start

Thank you for your reply!

Actully after instll the version of digilent.waveforms_beta_3.20.13_armhf.deb, it works now.  My hardware is Raspberry Pi 4 8G 64bit.

I have to say that ‘adding arm_64bit=0 to config.txt’ mentioned in previous way is not work for me.
