Dana Martin
We have two USB-2633 cards that were in production for approximately 1 year. Just recently they stop working (i.e. will not even power on). How can we perform a root cause analysis to see what happened?
0 Fausto
Hello @Dana Martin. The USB-2633 is powered by the USB supply from the computer; external power is not required. Please test the USB-2633 boards with a different USB cable and/or different Windows system, along with the latest version of InstaCal from the MCC DAQ software. If InstaCal does not detect the boards, then I will need to know the serial number from the label on each board. https://www.mccdaq.com/Software-Downloads https://www.mccdaq.com/pdfs/manuals/USB-2633.pdf Regards, Fausto
0 Dana Martin
Fausto, I have tested the boards with a new usb cable, and a different windows OS. InstaCal is able to detect other USB-2633 boards, but not the ones which have failed. The green LED does not turn on once USB cable has been plugged into computer. serial_number(board#1) - 209A9BA serial_number(board#2) - 2075025
0 Fausto
@Dana Martin, Serial number 209A9BA just makes the one-year warranty, but serial number 2075025 is out of warranty. I will send you a private message to request your contact information for a repair quote. Regards, Fausto
